Bring us your design and specification. HonHo develops and manufactures stainless steel, brass and 925 sterling silver jewelry, with CAD review, samples, finishing and inspection agreed around your order.
We begin with the details that affect production: dimensions, materials, settings, joints and finish. An approved sample gives both teams a reference before the bulk order begins.
Set the terms before development begins
Confidentiality, ownership, product testing and inspection should be discussed at the start. Put the agreed requirements in writing so the project has a clear basis from drawing review to delivery.
Agree design confidentiality
Discuss an NDA and file-use terms before sharing sensitive design information. Record ownership, permitted use and any exclusivity in the project agreement.
Specify testing for your market
Tell us the destination and intended use. We agree relevant tests and supporting documents for the finished product rather than treating all materials as universally compliant.
Work through production questions together
Our Dongguan team can discuss the drawing, sample and manufacturing steps with you. Keep changes recorded against the agreed specification.
Materials and finishes
304 and 316L stainless steel
Confirm the grade for the relevant components, then review the construction and coating. 316L is not automatically nickel-free, medical-grade or suitable for every water exposure; product claims need evidence for the finished piece.
925 Sterling Silver
Sterling silver contains 92.5% silver. We review the weight, finish and marking requirements with you, and can discuss protective coatings and suitable care instructions.
Brass
Brass works well for many cast shapes, surface textures and stone-set designs. Agree the alloy and coating specification, along with the product testing needed for the destination market.
PVD for stainless steel
Our stated gold-color specification uses a 0.5 μm TiN layer with a separate gold top layer of 0.03–0.10 μm. Agree the shade and layer requirements on the sample; the TiN layer should not be reported as gold thickness.
Electroplating for brass and silver
Gold electroplating can be specified from 0.03 to 5 μm according to the design and budget. Vermeil requires a sterling silver base and the applicable gold specification. Confirm color, thickness and any barrier or protective layers with the quotation.
Review the design before tooling
Send the available drawing or 3D file with dimensions and finish notes. We review construction, weight and setting details before confirming the development work.
File Compatibility
We work with .3dm, .stl, .step, and standard vector files.
Optimization
Our engineers review every design for manufacturability (DFM) to prevent structural issues before mold making.
Rapid Prototyping
We confirm whether a printed model, wax pattern or finished metal sample is needed and agree the development schedule. A visual model does not replace approval of the finished piece.
From approved drawing to production
Step 1: Consultation: Detailed analysis of your tech pack, target price, and material requirements.
Step 2: CAD & 3D Modeling: Digital rendering provided for approval (Turnaround: 2-3 Days).
Step 3: Mold Creation: CNC machining or 3D printing creates the master mold.
Step 4: Pre-Production Sample: A physical "Golden Sample" is made for your final signature (Turnaround: 7-10 Days).
Step 5: Mass Production: Casting, assembling, polishing, and plating (Turnaround: 20-25 Days).
Step 6: Stone Setting: Hand-setting of Zircon (AAA Grade), Crystals, or Gemstones by skilled artisans.
Step 7: Final QC & Packing: Individual inspection and barcode labeling based on your SKU system.
Agree the inspection plan
Confirm the metal grade or alloy and the relevant material documentation. Additional composition testing should be specified for the order.
Check cast or formed parts for dimensional issues, porosity and visible defects before they move into finishing and assembly.
Compare the finish with the approved color sample. Coating thickness, adhesion or corrosion tests are agreed where relevant to the design.
Inspect appearance, settings, closures and packing against the approved sample and written acceptance criteria. Any AQL sampling plan should be agreed before inspection.
Packaging and shipment planning
Coordinate boxes, pouches, cards and labels with the collection. Send any barcode, marketplace or retailer packing requirements before production so they can be included in the quotation.
Confirm freight for your destination
We discuss courier or freight options around the packed order, destination and delivery date. Transit estimates, insurance and export documents are confirmed separately from production time.

Our main service is B2B production. Discuss any special fulfillment requirement before ordering so we can confirm whether it is available and how it would be priced.
Can you provide material certifications (e.g., SGS, REACH) for compliance?
Agree the required test method, product scope and documents before production. Factory certificates and individual product reports serve different purposes; ask for current documents relevant to the order.
What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom designs?
Our standard starting point is 100 pieces per design and color. New tooling, complex settings or special components can change the practical quantity. Selected styles may support a smaller pilot order.
How do you protect my design intellectual property (IP)?
Discuss confidentiality and design ownership before sharing files. Record any NDA, permitted use and exclusivity terms in writing for the project.
