Jewelry Manufacturing
HonHo makes stainless steel, brass and 925 sterling silver jewelry for brands and wholesalers. Since 2017, our Dongguan team has worked with buyers on the steps between an approved design and a finished production order.
Choose the process around the piece
The material and construction determine the route. We review the drawing, sample and finish before deciding which parts need casting, machining, forming or hand assembly.
Good preparation carries through to the finish
Wall thickness, joints and setting positions are easier to resolve before tooling begins. We work through them with you, then use the approved sample to guide production and inspection.
The main production steps
Moulds and machining preparation
We turn the approved design into the tooling or machining instructions it needs. The approach depends on the material, geometry and order quantity. Details such as shrinkage, access for polishing and assembly clearances are reviewed before production.
Investment casting
Casting begins with a pattern and mould suited to the design. After casting, the pieces are separated, cleaned and checked before further finishing. We review fine sections and setting areas carefully because they affect both strength and appearance.
CNC machining
CNC machining suits parts that need controlled profiles, holes or repeated dimensions. We choose the tooling and process around the metal and geometry, then check the sample against the drawing.
Polishing and surface preparation
Polishing removes marks and prepares the surface for its final appearance. Some designs need a mirror finish; others need a brushed or textured surface. The sample records the finish to be matched in production.
Assembly and joining
Links, clasps, posts and other components are joined using a method suited to the design. We check alignment, movement and joint quality so the piece functions as well as it looks.
PVD and electroplating
We use PVD for stainless steel and electroplating for brass and sterling silver. Color, layer specification and any protective finish are agreed with the quotation. Testing and care guidance should reflect the complete piece.
Stone setting and decorative details
The stone, setting and surrounding metal are checked together. We review the size, position and attachment method, then inspect the finished result for security, alignment and surface damage.
Laser engraving
Send the artwork and intended engraving area. We review the line weight, lettering size and placement, then confirm the appearance on a sample before marking the production pieces.
Inspection and packing
Finished pieces are checked against the approved sample and written specification. Packing is reviewed for fit, protection and labeling before the order is prepared for shipment.
